A little too clickish. I thought a one got more mature that the young bitchy clicky attitude departed...obviously not here. And I don't know why they are being so....not one of the most attractive crowds in town....a bit in-bredish as the overheard conversations seem to deal with who has slept with who at the bar...possible with bags over their heads for anonymity and sanity. The large, open windows are a plus and the palms outside remind one of Key West....luckily the windows are not on a higher level or more of the patrons would use them to hurl themselves out of due to boredom. They would, however, find themselves landing on a cracked-out youngster trying to pick up one of the older regulars.

If you have never been there don't waste your time bartenders with attitude. Went there with friends on a Sunday afternoon and it was like pulling teeth to get service. Would NEVER go back.

I only popped in for a moment, but the crowd was definitely older. I mean, I felt young.. Yikes!

Very friendly staff. Makes me feel right at home. Sort a blast from the past there.

I think Uncles is excellent. the croud does range a little higher in age but I would say more like 30 and up, which can be refreshing. On good nights you can meet a hot "straight" guy there, it's the kind of place that makes them comfortable and relaxed. Trust me, I lived close by in my 20's. HA HA!! It is also a nice place to chat. The bar is oval, which I LOVE! Go and have a good time, it's full of positive energy. Oh, and the bartenders are superb! ;)

The crowd tends to be older, but there are also younger guys in this all-gay, no-attitude bar with very friendly customers and bartenders. There's nothing slick or pretty about the place, but who cares? Men can meet men and have some good conversations and drinks. Highly recommended.

it's like a great central meeting place. And a damn good bar, too...the bartenders take good care of you.
