Every year over 250 youth come to the prom and enjoy dancing, food, and entertainment in a space that celebrates their greatness without judgment and ridicule. This is a unique space where young people can bring their partners and feel at ease as they experience a classic rite of passage for young people. Were proud to say that weve been able to offer this wonderful event to Philadelphia area LGBTQ youth continuously since 1996! The Philadelphia Alternative Prom is one of the longest running alternative proms in the country!
