Join GALAEI for the 5th Annual David Acosta Revolutionary Leader Award (DARLA) celebration to commemorate GALAEI's 25th anniversary! Since 2009, we have presented the DARLA to recognize an individual who shows leadership and works to improve the community in ways that align with the mission of GALAEI. This includes advancing nuestra familia (our family) through economic and leadership development, sexual empowerment, and grassroots organizing. This year, we will honor these revolutionary leaders: * LOUIS ORTIZ - DARLA * DIANA ESTEFANIA ESTRADA ALAMO - YOUTH DARLA * THE PHILADELPHIA FOUNDATION - ORGANIZATION DARLA GALAEI wants to have a great ol' time with all of you who have supported and loved us over the years. Bring your dancing shoes and prepared to have a lovely night of dancing, mingling, bidding on silent auction items, and honoring REVOLUTIONARY LEADERS of our community.
