COME CELEBRATE TEN YEARS!

COME CELEBRATE TEN YEARS!
This Easter (Sunday April 5) marks the tenth anniversary of the Philly Zombie Crawl. When we held our first zombie crawl on that cold spring night in 2006, America had seen only one organized zombie crawl – held the previous October in Minneapolis.
That’s right – before Walking Dead , Zombieland, etc… there was Philly and its brotherly love for the undead.
Over the past decade some of our host bars have come and gone – but the undead love remains strong … and to celebrate, we’re going back to our ROOTS!
Besides embracing the bars that have welcomed us into their hearts (and brains) the past decade, we want to offer an opportunity for those under 21 to join in the celebration …. rumor has it quite a few zombies of 2006 now have little zombies of their own and are looking for a fun event for the entire undead family! With that, we give you..
**THE PHILLY ZOMBIE CRAWL PARADE!**
(yes, the city granted our parade permit!!)
Join us at Starr Garden (6th and Lombard Sts) on Easter Sunday beginning 5pm as we gather together to begin our annual celebration.
At 5:30pm we will step off onto 6th Street and crawl to South Street, where we will make a left and crawl down to 3rd Street. To make this event even more fun, we are encouraging zombies to gather as packs (4 or more zombies under one unified theme qualify for a Zombie Pack) … we’ll award prizes to the Best Zombie Packs of the Parade. Behind the 'Zombie Packs' will be the 'Zombie Hoard' – zombies of all shapes and sizes capping off the parade.
Once we've arrived in front of The Legendary Dobbs, we’ll announce the winners and kick off the 10th Annual Philly Zombie Crawl – additionally, we'll be posting both on this event page and on our website (http://PhillyZombie.com) a list of places where zombies are welcome to get some ‘brain food’ either before the crawl or as part of it (we’ll note those locations welcoming zombie families!)
The following bars will welcome zombies with reanimated drink specials and unique atmospheres throughout the night - most will also host Zombie Makeup Artists who will zombify your face for just $10 (they keep 100% of the fee, so be nice - and if you want more than the basics, just ask!)
