Townhall 1: FIRST STEPS in strengthening local racial equality

TOPIC: FIRST STEPS in strengthening local racial equality: SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES!!! Wed October 14th William Way Center: Ballroom 6-8pm The issue & incidents of colored racism in Philadelphia's LGB&T living & social communities has sparked much concern in the state of equality for the city. Racism brings a great deal of trauma, segregation, and stress to a community that needs to be addressed! Townhall 1 is one of many efforts to: - Hear experiences to offer resources - Develop a community action plan - Improve the community. We invited those who have experienced or seen racist acts occur in the gayborhood to come and share their stories. This will help us start the development of a community action plan.
