Philadelphia Transgender Day of Visibility -#ShineALightOn Discrimination

International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual holiday occurring on March 31 dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide. Please join us in Norris Square Park as we celebrate this year's theme: #MoreThanVisibility. Visibility is important and it is not enough. We must take action to ensure that all transgender people can live fair, dignified lives. Come with your poems, your stories of discrimination, and any other experiences you want to share with the group as we #ShineALightOn discrimination towards our community. Also, if you're comfortable, come visible with TRANSPRIDE signs, stickers, posters, whatever! (In the event of rain, we will provide a tent/shelter, so we'll still be on!)
