Philadelphia Kite Festival 2016

Welcome to the 4th Annual Philadelphia Kite Festival 2016! The South Jersey Kite Flyers will be putting on a spectacular show with their award winning kite flying. This year we will be introducing a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts + Math) Competition, involving student workshops and a 1HR Scramble Kite-Making Challenge, where teams of engineering students have limited time and resources to take flight. Watch them scramble! And, of course, enjoy the food trucks, and making and flying your own kites. Fun for the family and everyone in the best park in the world, Penn Treaty Park, with its beautiful views of the Delaware River, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the open sky.
