40th Anniversary Celebration of the Mann with The Philadelphia Orchestra

This special anniversary performance with a spectacular fireworks display will feature music drawn from the repertoire played during the first season at the Mann in 1976. The evening will include Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 played by rising star pianist and Curtis Institute artist Daniel Hsu, and the brilliant Maurice Ravel orchestration of Mussorgsky’s Pictures from an Exhibition. In celebration of the Mann's 40th Anniversary, lawn tickets are $19.76 and the best seats in the house are only $40. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 1st at 10AM via MannCenter.org, Ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000, and the Mann Box Office. If you are 21 years of age or older and plan to consume alcohol at the concert, please be prepared to present proper I.D. There is no re-entry once exiting the facility. Picnics are permitted for this performance as a part of the Mann's Summer Picnic Series.
