We have opened up a scaled division due to the overwhelming number of requests!
Booty vs the Beast is an RX and scaled event being held at Crossfit Prime in Northeast Philadelphia! The competition will consist of teams of 4 which will be comprised of ALL MALE or ALL FEMALE. There will be a male division and female division. The competition will consist of three workouts and one championship workout where the top male team will face off against the top female team in an EPIC winner take all finish!
As a unique twist, the top male and female teams of each event will receive prize packs. There will also be a bonus prize awarded to the overall champion from the top male and female final showdown.
Workouts and additional information will be released leading up to the event on the facebook event page so make sure you follow for details!! Final WOD will be released the day of the competition once all other events are finished!

The weights listed are working weights and some gymnastic movements that could possibly be seen in workouts.

WOD 1:
“Uncle Fran”
9 Minutes
3 rep max thruster
After the 9 minutes expire, each athlete will get one chance at max effort chest to bar pullups. When you drop from the pullup bar, your attempt is over!! Your number of pullups will be added onto your weight for the thruster.
Rules:
Each team will be given one barbell with a set of 45s, 35s, 25s, 15s, 10s, 5s, and 2.5# plates. One athlete working at a time. Athletes are allowed to squat clean thruster their first rep. All reps must come below parallel and be fully locked out overhead.
Athlete order of C2B pullups must be determined BEFORE the WOD begins. There is a 5 second transition from when the 9 minute thruster workout ends until the first athlete must be on the bar performing chest to bar. When athlete number 1 finishes their pullups, athlete number two must hop up onto the bar within 5 seconds. There will be a judge counting the time between athletes as well as a judge counting the reps.
Scaled Standards will include the three rep max thruster except there will be chin over the bar pull-ups.
WOD 2:
“Double Girls”
For Time
Grace 135/95 then 75 double unders
Isabel 135/95 then 75 double unders
Grace then 75 double unders
Isabel then 75 double unders
Relay Style
20 Minute Cap
Rules:
Each member of the team will perform one of the workouts listed above in relay fashion until all 4 are complete. Teammate 1 will begin with Grace and then a 75 double under cash out. When booty/beast completes this, they will then tag teammate number 2, who will perform Isabel and then 75 double under cash out, etc until all 4 are complete. Your team's score is the time you complete the workout or if you do not finish under the cap it will be the number of reps you complete. Like mentioned on an earlier post, the top Male team and the top Female team will win 4 Momentum Gear speed ropes!!
Scaled weight will be 95/65 and 150 singles.
