Rally to Honor Philadelphia's LGBTQ Veterans!

We will not stand for discrimination against our transgender siblings! Join us August 3rd at noon in the City Hall Courtyard as we celebrate and honor Philadelphia’s LGBTQ veterans and stand in solidarity with our trans brothers, sisters, and gender-nonconforming siblings. We are united, we are one. Event will include remarks from Mayor Jim Kenney, military veteran and advocate Sue Fulton, executive director My Brother's House Dr. Remolia Simpson, member of Philadelphia City Council's Veteran's Advisory Commission Aronda Smith, veteran Dante Austin and other LGBTQ veterans and servicemembers. To our transgender community members – we see you, we love you, and we are here for you. We are strong, and as a community, we will continue to resist hatred and discrimination of any kind! Feel free to bring signage and join us to raise your voice against government-sanctioned discrimintation.
