Feet First Philly Gayborhood Tour with Bob Skiba

Join us as experienced tour guide and curator of the collections at the LGBT Archives at the William Way Community Center, Bob Skiba, shows us around the Gayborhood. Philadelphia’s Gayborhood is full of amazing stories of drag parades, police raids, jazz clubs, gay speakeasies and the first successful gay sit-in in America. Intertwined with these is the “straight history” that includes a baker who owned the first private automobile in the City, the first home of the Mütter Museum and the last remaining street in the city paved with wood.
