About TransWork:
TransWork is an economic empowerment project focused on addressing employment needs in the transgender community. It is a program of the Independence Business Alliance (IBA), the Greater Philadelphia LGBT Chamber of Commerce. This effort is trans-led, spearheaded by a committee of trans-identified IBA members and a broader advisory group. Our goal is to increase access to economic opportunity for transgender people in our region by connecting trans*applicants with employers and helping trans*entrepreneurs start and grow businesses.
