Voyeur Nightclub

(190 Ratings)
Cool, stylish 3-floor dance bazaar

Chandeliers, lasers, light walls, an illuminated runway dance floor, erotic and captivating video art are all part of the recent upgrades to Voyeur. EDM/House Music is always played on the main dance floor. Local DJs spin party rock, rare and classic dance grooves down in the lounge and the best in hip-hop and r&b can be heard upstairs in the mezzanine lounge.

Reviews

One and only time there

Great dancing crowd, but somewhat unprofessional in the running of the spot. The sound system was horrible. Now I understand what they mean when they complain about the "house music Boom Boom Boom". Over an hour after opening, the employees are moving furniture off the dance floor so more people could dance. That should have been done before opening, or they should have opened the other floors, considering how large the crowd was. On the door front, I was carded [ i'm black ] but I noticed that none of the whites that were entering as I left were being carded. Really? It's not the 1950's! Stop the madness... If I didn't know this was a gay club, the mirrors in the men's room that made it easy to see everything at urinals, was a dead giveaway. Doubt I will ever go back, and I was actually stoked to go there after what I had heard and read about the place.

Late night fun

Enjoyed myself here. Fun crowd

I like it

I did like the multiple rooms , good music - closed too early for me... The lil strip outside was fun!

What a joke

I moved to Philly 3 years ago from Chicago(amazing city) under total protest. Wanted to find a club that could trancend me and was told to go to voyeur. The place is dumpy with nothing of interest. Nothing lighting and local D.J.'s that seem to listen to the radio all day and spin what they heard in the evening. They do occasionally get a real D.J. from out of town that can blow the roof off (Sal Dano, Eddie Ellias, wow) but thats not often enough. After 1:30 it ends up being 65% women and 30% amateurs. Not at all a world class nightclub. Overall Philly is a garbage dump and if you want to go away don't spend your money there because if you know the club life you"ll be wasting it. Try Atlanta,Chicago, Miami.

Late Night Fun

Love that this place opens until 3, a great place to dance, the music is off the hook and everyone is just there to have fun. Especially did the Old school, Hip Hop section upstairs. The special events while a little pricey are worth it.
