Sisterly Love and TransHealth Information Project - TIP, a program of GALAEI are hosting the second annual PTHC Happy Hour to honor and highlight the work being done by trans women at the local and national level.
The community work being done by trans women often goes unrecognized by the larger LGBT community. With this Happy Hour we aim to create a space where we can acknowledge and celebrate the community organizing, community education, political advocacy, community engagement and empowerment, campus organizing and other work that is being done relentlessly by trans women in the fight for trans justice.
This event will be a "meet and greet" style space for folks to connect and share their success and challenges, while building community!
*While this will be an event centering the work being done by trans women in the community, allies are welcome to attend!
**Food will be provided by Venture Inn as well as drink specials and a cash bar.
