Bruce Klauber
Drummer/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Bruce Klauber is the biographer—in books and on DVD--of drum giants Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich, Jazz Bridge Public Relations Director, columnist for the prestigious Broad Street Review, jazz correspondent on Chuck Darrow’s “That’s Showbiz” radio program, co-founder of this region’s popular All-Star Jazz Trio, a unit that often tours and records with legendary songstress Peggy King, recording artist, and drummer with the likes of Charlie Ventura, Milt Buckner, Al Grey, Joanie Sommers, Anita O’Day and Buddy Greco. As a drummer, he emphasizes high energy swing ala Krupa and Rich, and is as an entertaining vocalist in the tradition of Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Mel Torme’ and Dean Martin.
James Dell'Orefice
Pianist/educator/recording artist James Dell'Orefice has accompanied, among many others, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, Clark Terry, Lee Konitz, Lorna Luft, Little Anthony and the Imperials and Petula Clark. For many years, Jim toured with Connie Stevens as her pianist and Assistant Conductor. Among the highlights of his career are command performances for Luciano Pavarotti and President Bill Clinton. James also leads one of the most in-demand society orchestras in the region.
Bruce Kaminsky
Bassist/cellist/educator Bruce Kaminsky is the inventor of the widely-used electric/acoustic hybrid KYDD bass, a pioneer of World Music via his leadership of several Middle Eastern and Klezmer ensembles, a professor at Drexel University and Montgomery County Community College. He continues to be one of our region’s most in-demand jazz bassists, playing with everyone from Tal Farlow to Helen O’Connell. He is also one-third of this area’s All-Star Jazz Trio.
