best bar ever

i loved this bar when i live in philly and i miss it every time i go out since i've come to tampa. it's the only bar i've been to in either city where a) i am friendly with all the bartenders and b) i can say things and get laughter where in other bars i get guffaws from nelly queens. it will be the first place i go when i get to philly again.

where to go for culture

I went to the bike stop a few time and truly it was worth it. i like to come into my nature of life and see how others act to get the picture better. this is the place

Stay in the pit.

The top floors are fairly standard modern "leatherbar" fare... But the basement is truly a special place that needs to be seen to be appreciated. Everything in the pit is cruisy, from the lighting, to the music, to the clientele. Be prepared to watch a parade of twinks wander through the room wearing white tennis shoes throughout the night, but it's not a big deal since they will be too intimidated to actually look in your direction if you're dressed appropriately for the bar. It's unfortunate that the pit is no longer filled wall-to-wall with men in leather, but it's not going to get any better if everybody sits at home on their computer to bitch instead of getting geared up and going out to cruise.

Not worth the stop!

This used to be the most fun bar in Philly a decade or so ago. But the years have not been kind to the BS. All the good bartenders left for greener pastures and the staff that remains are rude and arrogant or Woody's wannabes (same difference)! The building is falling apart and is ready to be condemned. And the clientele that remains only go there because they are not welcome anywhere else. That is when there are actual customers in the joint. This place has really gone downhill. Definitely not worth the stop!

Monday's

Wear your fav jockstrap, wore mine and got plenty attention. A place to let go and show off your bare ass on Mondays. Not a flashy place, but a break from the gossip and bitchy attitude.
