So So Sad

What once was a real " leather man's " bar is now a sad sad " patent leather" mix of people who have no idea what the bar represents. The bar caters to anyone that is old enuff to buy a drink ( then neeed to cater to them as the real men dont go there much any more ) - Hopefully the bears will find a place where they are welcome and appreciated rather than tolerated.

This is it

The best and friendliest bar I have encountered in the Gayborhood. Not pretentious, everyone and everything here. Daddies, bears, cubs, uniforms, it's all here and ok to be. Big ass beers and big butch men...for the most part. Bartenders are friendly and prompt with a smile. Reminds me of the old Throckmorton Mining Co. in Dallas from the late 70's..just the right amount of leather and flannel, levis and chaps, and everything in between. YUM!

Always go there when in Philly

Always friendly staff and crowd. No dress codes and lots to explore

mmmm......

This is the place to go if you want to get down and dirty. Make sure you're packing a few condoms 'cus, despite all your best intentions, you might just need them, especially if you go downstairs. Don't even think about coming here if you're not wearing leather. If you are into all of that, this is the Best Place in Philly to Find It. BE SAFE!

It's home.

This is my main hangout. It's comfortable and fun and if you're a gay man in Philadelphia who isn't totally into twinks...this is probably your kind of place. Although it's Philadelphia's only leather bar, there usually isn't any restriction what you wear (occasionally in the downstairs Pit Dtop, but you don't have to go there) and the bartenders are great.
